The RT-PoE2 is a high density, rack-mountable unit for testing Ethernet switches and other devices that provide power over Ethernet per the IEEE 802.3af standard. The unit contains 24 individually programmable test ports in a 1U high rack mount chassis. Each port supports full powered device emulation including programmable classification and variable power load up to and including an overload condition. Each port is rated for Gigbit Ethernet connectivity through a separate reference port connection for datapath validation testing. Other test capabilities include cable short emulation, valid / invalid signature, and both AC and DC disconnect. All ports can sink full power simultaneously to emulate a full load on the tested device.
Specification Highlights:
-
universal AC power supply (95-265VAC)
