Custom Product Program
Reach Technology Inc. was formed out
of the need for custom electronic assemblies.
We believe that there are always instances
where a custom product will provide a better solution than
an available "off-the-shelf" product. The main
reason is that for Reach can often design and build a custom
product for the same price as the off-the-shelf one. This
holds true for all products that are not mass-market oriented
such as PC motherboards. The reason this can work is that
we eliminate the middleman and work directly with the manufacturer.
As such products are built to order and fit the exact customer needs. One of
the subtle but powerful benefits of this arrangements is the end-of-life issue:
custom products do not go obsolete like standard commercial products. This
feature alone is worth thousands of dollars in documentation and training costs.
