Jonathan More, President

Jonathan More is President and co-founder of Reach Technology Inc. With more than 25 years of experience in project management, product specification, and design in dynamic and competitive markets, Jonathan has a proven track record in developing products to exacting customer requirements.

Jonathan has the breadth of experience necessary to develop timely solutions to diverse technical challenges for organizations including Cisco Systems, Apple Computer, Lawrence Livermore Labs, Solectron, and numerous medical device companies. He has written software ranging from low level 8 bit microcontroller code to Windows device drivers to high level Windows based applications. He has developed hardware using embedded processors, DSP, audio, video, power, and FPGAs. Jonathan has also managed development teams where the breadth of his experience enabled him to effectively direct and track highly technical team members. To add to this, he can generate detailed specifications that can be used both by customers for sign-off and by project teams as implementation blueprints.

Prior to founding Reach, Jonathan served as Vice President of Research and Development for Orchid Technology, one of the first companies to develop add-on cards for the IBM PC. At Orchid Jonathan was responsible for new product development and strategic technical partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Jonathan worked for Sytek in Sunnyvale developing packet network protocols and implementing broadband network bridges. He also worked for Bell Canada on nation-wide data transport services and early packet-switched data. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Engineering Science / Electrical Engineering) from the University of Toronto.

Steve Bierut, Vice President, Operations

Mr Bierut is Vice President of Operations and co-founder of Reach Technology. With over 25 years of Industry experience, Steve assures that Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Support is of the highest standards.

As an electrical engineer, Steve has been instrumental in the design and lay out of numerous board level design using Motorola, and Intel 80186 Microprocessors. Graphics controllers, MPEG I decoders, and custom production line test equipment.

Prior to founding Reach Technology, Steve worked as a Senior Design Engineer for Orchid Technology, and Micronics. Steve also used his technical and project management skills to be the "highest design win" Field Application Engineer for Reptron Electronics; there he focused on products including Hitachi, Nec, and OKI, Sharp, and Chips & Technology graphics LCD controllers. Steve holds a BSEE from Case Western Reserve University.
